BUZZ

MORE FROM CANNES
Another carefully selected pick of mentionable red carpet moments from the Cannes Film Festival

Not surprisingly, Cate Blanchett has made it on my list yet again. This time striking in Givenchy.

As if Chanel doesn't take your breath away enough, here is a reason to seriously lose it. Plumes, check! Sparkle, check! Dreaminess, Check! It's all here ladies. Julianne Moore floats in this frock.

Marion Cotillard knows Parisian chic. I love it when one wears an edgy number to an event known for its over the top arrivals. The weightless fabric and neckline, along with the detailed back make it a little badass. Plus the footwork and hair helps too.

OMG

Can We Please Talk About This For A Minute?

Unless another celebrity wows me the way these two have at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France, I won't be talking too much about Cannes. Kate Blanchett in Valentino is a goddess decked out with glimmering lace and feather adorned shoulders. And Nicole Kidman sparkles like no other in this intricate Armani PrivĂ© stunner.

THE MET BALL

WHAT THEY WORE

Last nights Met Ball had lots of wows and some funny oh-nos. I will only mention the ones I particularly liked here. This doesn't mean that there weren't others I didn't like, but these are worth mentioning. On with it!
The first 5 are my top choices in order.

Number one dressed in my opinion was Beyonce in Givenchy Couture is absolute perfection, dripping in glamour. She nailed the drama, mystery and beauty that is The Met. I can't say enough about this look. It's

Clashing never looked so good! Only Emma Stone can pull of this Thakoon number with her fire red hair! She looks so effortless, yet this minimal look makes you blush from prettiness. It's chic and clean. Love it!

The rule breaker! Cara Delevigne arrived and rocked this Stella McCartney look with confidence. I absolutely love that she took this risk because she looks fabulous!

I'm a sucker for anything shiny, and Lea Michele was a dripping gold goddess in this Altuzarra gown. It has just the right amount of glimmer and its fluidity looks like it was poured over her body. Amazing.

Parisian perfection. Marion Cotillard in Dior is elegant and gorgeous. Plus did you notice she rocked only on earring? On purpose! This dress is beautiful and timeless.

One of my favorite designers is Balmain. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed up in short dress that has the designers signature touch. With the leather and leopard paneling and strong shoulders, it almost looks like Roman armor!

Another rule breaker! Kristen Wigg walked the red carpet in an all black pants and dress ensemble by Balenciaga and Alexander Wang. This look is so modern, effortless with the added touch of peeking sparkle for glam. Perfect.

If you want epic beauty in a dress, look no further than Marchesa. Karolina Kurkova wore a dress, that I cant say I love but I also cant deny that the dress is beautiful. It has a Russian princess feel to it. I can definitely appreciate the beauty of dress making by looking at this one.

Naomi Watts also chose Givenchy Couture. This is why I fell in love with fashion! The beauty, the unexpected elements of a stunning dress! I love love love this. This should really go up to my top picks.

Kate Mara arrived in a subtle but demanding Valentino gown. I love the way the dress is very intricate but her hair is super casual. This is a great look on her!

Oh how I am loving the spring Florals! And I think it is even better when it is painted all over this gorgeous yellow dress on Emmy Rossum in Carolina Herrera. It is so fresh and vibrant, a breath of fresh air.
